A design proposition for the extension of Flower Shop located at the fringe of Victoria Market in Melbourne. The idea of “interlace” between old and new materials had given it a fresh appearance, present itself as a unique entity in the domestic context.

The casting of natural sunlight into the inner section of the building had made it more sustainable and energy efficient besides enhancing the process of photosynthesis for flowers within.

The assembly of materials and the refinement of detailing for timber and glass joints had become the emphasis of this project.
