The owner requested a refurbishment of the building facade design and internal major overhaul in order to convert this somewhat “redundant” office building to a glamorous hotel tower.

Feasibility study was conducted to understand the local context in term of its traffic flow, existing commercial provision and the needs of the residents in the surrounding.

We attempted to pull the crowd to this building by making this place a resting platform for the tourists whom are coming back and forth from the busy highway every day. Furthermore, a close alliance with the tourism industry will further sustaining the business operation of this hotel.

In order to revive the vibrancy of this tower, the internal layout had been reconfigured to fit in hotel suites, common facilities, shops, restaurants and recreational areas to promote human circulation around the building. All the unused spaces including the roof terrace had been re-planned and occupied with alfresco cafes and rentable rooms, which undoubtedly will increase the commercial value of this building.
