Museum of Contemporary Moving Images

An architectural design proposition of a public institution; whose role was to provide a social platform for the expression and critique of contemporary culture. It was designed to reinforce the edge of Melbourne's Central Activities District and creating a new public square for Melbourne.

The idea of a museum both arose from and provoked the question of how to house classification. It sought to initiate a search from within to re-ground, to rediscover legitimacy for the museum as both an institution and representative of local cultures.
